The clubs not dead as long as it has supporters fella!..It will lose loads of those though and will fail to attract the kids (the future supporters)if we continue cycling between league one and the championship as will be our fate without the takeover.Don ad co are a busted flush as they obviously cannot cope with the size of the financial task ahead!!15-20 thousand in the SOL every home game will be soul destroying!

yes the takeover info was coming long before he got involved. he obviously does have some info but a lot of what he has said has proved to be wrong as well.

I think he’s a good poster, it seems like people are just as defensive about people questioning reliability of information for no reason

As a long term follower of this forum before creating an account have to say one thing i gathered was that @Grumpy Old Man was one of the respected members on here, someone others often turned to. I struggle to see why theres suddenly people doubting his integrity and suggesting its all made up, as for reiver know less of him but its clear hes obviously helped plenty of lads in the past. So i have no reason to doubt any of what these chaps are saying especially since reiver has had his sources confirmed on at least one occasion

Insults? No there was no insult. I simply said that people on here have respect for GOM, unlike you who clearly do not respect him.

And yes, we are defensive about people questioning the reliability of information for no reason again just like you.

And finally yes, I do believe that Titus Bramble dies one day too. The same as us all.

Can these people who are taking great delight in forensically dissecting Reiver and Grumpy Old Man's posts please explain to me why would these two well respected posters fabricate info on the takeover? As if they are the truth will out eventually and they will be made to look pretty stupid. They have absolutely nothing to gain by passing on the info and potentially a lot to lose, i.e. their reputations on the forum.
