I'm not saying he's been lying. there you go putting words in my mouth again. he did say the deal was done though and it turned out it wasn't yet. still not saying he was lying.

he said it on multiple occasions. Now he is saying via grumpy old man that the deal is 99% done. so which is it?

do you get it now? is this clear enough for you?

There might be an easy £1000 to be made if you think he’s wrong ,he seem confident and so does GOM who are both reasonable level headed people .I do understand not to count your chickens and all that but Riv especially must have seen some damning evidence to be so confident .


I also think SD is desperate to get shot and wouldn’t want this all to fall through at the last min

that offer expired for whatever reason yesterday. @ShieldsBlackCat2015 offered to take him up on that bet and he backed down.
It's obvious that the takeover will be done now anyway, no one is disputing that, especially not me.

He has been told the deal is done, he is confident enough that it will all go through to bet £1000 it won't be.

Yet on this thread you have pulled him and GOM as lying.

No doubt when it is announced you will see the majority of this board are happy and will then post how happy your are

Again, that bet was cancelled due to decent people pointing out a few things that made the bet untenable.

Obviously you read that, yet you chose to ignore it?

We can still afford to sack the manager though. Like every club in the Football League can. If we truly didn’t have a pot to piss in, we could sack Ross now, bring in the reserve team coach or someone else in-house on a pittance and save money in the long run.
