honest question that bugging me

if the three men of the consortia have had the companies house filing completed and are now named as directors; surely that means that a transaction has taken place to buyout some or (all) of Donald/Methvan/ Sartoris stake(s)
hence... what is the delay in your (or others) opinion?
Are they not just directors of the company which will in due course buy the club.

That company is merely the vehicle to make the purchase. It does not mean that the purchase has been completed.
At least as far as I understand it.

They arent directors of SAFC just a brand new company.

It means only that the company which will be used to hold their shares in Sunderland has been formed. There have been no filings for Sunderland Limited itself. Now, they could have been appointed as directors of Sunderland, and the related filings haven't yet been done; we have no way of knowing that. The delay, as I've said consistently, is them wanting to put corrective actions in place before announcing.

Don't think that's right mind. They've set up a holding company, that company has no link to Madrox or SAFC at this stage (other than the registered address). It's obviously been set up so that at some point it can, but it existing doesn't confirm that any transaction has yet taken place (just like how the Sheikh created a holding company when intending to buy the mags, but obviously no transaction had taken place because the deal never happened)

Edit: as normal GOM has already answered, and much better than I can!

Fair enough if you choose to believe that but I don't.

Bolton had a lot more complexity than we did and were taken over quite quickly. I won't derail the thread but I need something official now I don't believe anyone in this thread knows anything

Weren't they (Bolton) actually in Administration and in the hands of The Receiver who simply had to sell to the highest bidder or liquidate the assets. The old Bolton FC and its debts were not being sold,.

They were the due diligence accountants, and appear to have done a far more thorough job than whoever Donald got to do it for him. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of Deloitte consultants in the club's offices as we speak.

The DD under SD was barely existent

Totally, which is why nothing that's happened so far has surprised me in the least.
Yes, I agree with you too. I know if somebody had leaked anything from deals I have personally worked on (one set of highly respected solicitors from Newcastle Quayside tried that once, but only the once) and I found out?..........Americans are not to dissimilar in their approach.

Very similar to Bury when that last owner bought them.. Went through in a week or so. Look where Bury are now and whats to say all is rosy at Bolton, its only been two weeks since they were taken over.
