We have fantastic players for this level. Better options as a whole than any club at this level. Lets stop making excuses for the manager being unable to get anything out of them eh?

For a prime example look at Will Griggs stats at any club he has been at at this level. Now look at him since Ross got his hands on him

The manager is a joke

Top post.

It's a difficult thing being possitive under so much negativity.

Painfully at times. Just wish folk knew.

The answer lies somewhere in between.

He did a good job stabilising the club and has brought players in for little money who are good quality at league one level.

But, he's rotating the team, not playing his best 11 regularly, and is persisting with Wyke. All of this costing us points.

He may not be able to change the money available, that's out of his control, but the team he put out the other night made no sense to me and it showed on the pitch.

There's a lot for which Ross deserves praise, but I can't support not playing his best 11 regularly. I'm not sold on his rotating philosophy at all. It may work for Man City who have multi-million pound players on the bench, but take a couple of our better players out of our team and we're a bang average league one side, which showed the other night.

Detect what Smurf was saying not Ross.

I'm not interested what you believe. I ain't firing out what I know and from who.

Most I know from my friend is not club related anyway.

You've given us absolutely nothing, it's as cryptic as it comes and now you're backtracking.

Let's get this back on topic, the takeover. Hopefully it all goes through next week. If it rumbles on another week, I think then fans will begin to have doubts if it's going ahead at all. That said, we were told it was done a few weeks ago, so if that were the case, it would come as a huge surprise.

Spot-on. Why change a team which had won 3 days prior?

Not true. Grigg's goals had dried up long before coming to SAFC.

Grigg alone is to blame for his performances. He doesn't look sharp at all. Not in movement, not in pace, not in thought.

Compare that with McNulty, who looks lively, who looks capable of making the runs to get in behind defenders, and it's a huge contrast.

Our best hope of going up is if McNulty stays fit between now and January, he plays every week as our centre forward, Wyke and Grigg don't enter the pitch in that period, they are sold in January and we bring someone in as, at the very least, competition for McNulty.

There is no way we are going up with Wyke and Grigg playing for decent periods of matches. That's as close to a fact as an opinion can get.

Again, agree fully. Those two missing sitters last year really cost us and they've started this season in the same manner.

Here we go, Ross thread part 256465318 within the takeover thread :confused::lol::lol:

When the fuck will the monorail be discussed again given the video of the model has been leaked now? Is that one of the AOL trees I see just before the bend? It's happening!!

Backtracking..

Dunno how.

Club was a shambles and owners and management have had more to deal with and still dealing with than we will know.

That's all I know. The fact I was told that means little as it ain't big news.

And I don't ask for examples as would rather not know.

Other stuff I know is personal stuff with the player and would be of no interest

I know someone who worked at the club, not high up or anything and can give no info about this takeover, and they told me the same thing about the behind the scenes workings.

Notes the past tense “who worked at the club” .... Possibly made redundant, I really feel sorry for all who were when the Club restructured from Premier League levels - but could there be a little ill feeling from “the source”?

We all know that, it's nothing new.

Mods removed my post. Anyway, this is going to come off at the end of the month/start of october. That was what I was told the moment that my clued up friend first conveyed his insights to me, 2 weeks back.
It was said in a newspaper tbf. ⚠ 📡

Then Ross shouldn’t have signed them.
That’s the whole point .........”he” didn’t!
It's average, not woeful, but it's not as bad as the teams we're playing. The opposition have been atrocious.

Ross brought the players in, now you're defending him because they aren't good enough? Give us a break man.
What do you think Coton and Hill were brought in to do?
