Shouldn't say anything then as it's just winding fans up who can see the reality.
Shouldn't say anything?

Yeah. Question asked and he says I'm not speaking....great.

Read his quote again...the headline is what the depressive are going off on this thread.

Showing exactly why every time he says anything he gets slated as there's nothing wrong with what he is saying and any manager would say it.

"We have good players here and i think the reward will come in that sense if we keep believing in what we do.
We are not giving up a huge amount of opportunities per game as seen on Tuesday where Jon McLoughlin didn't have a huge amount to do against a good team.
From what i have seen on the training ground and in matches we will get those rewards sooner rather than later"

Sick of the same shit from him.

Concentrate on keeping the ball and we can solve everyone's issue, which is scoring more goals and keeping more clean sheets.

I have seen comparisons made on here to David Moyes, I posted the below on another thread a few days ago, Im beginning to think we might be leaving it too late......

Is it just me or has anybody else got the feeling that we have David Moyes Mk2 managing us? I am 100% at the stage now that no matter what, I want him to leave. He proved to be not good enough last season and this season so far for me has been abysmal. Every win (in my opinion) has been a lucky win and the draws have been lucky draws. We dont want to leave it too late because thats exactly what Bain did with Moyes...kept hold of him more in hope that it will change rather than making the change when it mattered, and of course for these reasons thats why we are where we are.

In conclusion not firing Jack Ross before its too late is much of the same as not firing David Moyes before its too late. In each circumstance we find ourselves in League 1, to me this is 100% mis-management from the men at the top. (and I am a big supporter of SD)

Cause hes chatting absolute bullshit. We are f***ing awful at defending 1 goal leads but he sets us up to defend them anyway. The same thing has happen nearly every week since January and he clearly hasnt learned from his mistakes. We need to be putting games to bed.

He’s absolutely right. Our defence doesn’t give up many opportunities. Our problem is our paltry level of creativity. It makes his decision to drone on about making us tighter at the back even more bizarre.

Obviously not even managed a stiff shite before have you...and the other bridge jumpers.

It will be interesting to see how our improved defence does this afternoon against a side that has managed to score 1 goal in seven league games.

If we don’t keep a clean sheet today we never will.

Ignoring what he has said specifically for a moment, more interesting is the reaction on here to what he says.

He's in big trouble now if you ask me. Everything he says is jumped upon. Even if its relatively mundane standard weekly manager speak.

That is a bad sign as I dont recall many (any?) managers pulling out of a tailspin.

He needs to win a few on the belt to stand any chance at all.

Well Bolton have scored the least goals in the top 4 divisions (a whopping 1 goal in 7 games and -22 gd)
If we can't keep a clean sheet (and a convincing win) against these then the trigger must be pulled.

The new owners will no doubt be very much aware of the current mood.

Murphy is nailed on to score today

5 clean sheets in the last 25 games.
He's supporting his players

Should try it.

On here.....don't think he's interested...Nor would I.

In The Journal this morning...
says he set a target of 20 clean sheets at the start of the season.
