Even the Ellis Short takeover was pretty quiet, no press conference etc. At the time we were in the Premier League and Roy Keane was our manager so likely big news.

I have not read all the thread but does Ellis own the Hilton near the ground? If so the new lads want that as well apparently as part of the deal. Don't shoot the messenger.

This is how I hoped it would/will materialise. Low key, just let them come in and we quietly go about our business.

Whether or not that's possible I've no idea.

On the assumption you are being serious and not taking the piss!English is a loose language fella its not german or french..idioms and sayings are not precise or often logical..its about communication and common usage so you can take it how you want!but my view of by next week does not literally mean before but includes next week and monday next is next week!and btw thanhs for making me bore myself stupid as i write this!:lol:

He already owneda significant number of shares for a year or so before buying out the drummers!

This is true. Only the higher echelon of quarterback is making this much a year. Other skill positions (wide receivers/guards/running backs) make less than this amount. The league minimum is around 600k and the average career of a NFL player is approximately 3 years or so.
