I dont know their plans but the impression i get is we are about to be blown away

Have you heard much regarding their plans? Am i on the right track with my impression?

Only hints from Reiver. Let's just say they're ambitious.
That would definitely be considered as leaving a legacy

I believe that's their intention - rich Americans are big on legacy projects.

If they want a roof, that means extending the upper tier round the east and south stands, which should take it to around 62,000.

The SoL is an amazing venue, but as with a lot to do with SAFC & the city its self. It's on our psyche to play it down.

If these lot are serious about providing a lasting legacy (as Sir Bob has) then making it a venue for various sports e.g NFL / concerts and developing the area surrounding it (after expansion) would make sense... that would generate more sponsorship revenue.

I doubt it would be about doing to sell out in league one, and hopefully they have much bigger plans.

No one said we could fill 42k from Roker (we did) and for a time 48k+ give us a team on the pitch to challenge Top 6 in England and we'd fill 60k+ easily... history tells us that.

Not if you host England games, NFL, Concerts, Europe & works sports events.
If I had more money than croesus i would want to create a great brand and having the biggest stadia in the region might be part of that ......... only the mags are bothered if we fill it. I guess the sol site is a rare site for investors.... as it is near the city centre and has lots of land around it available for developmebnt!Again if you had the will and the money you could create a magnificent sporting and leasure hub to put sunderland on the map!
