What’s the worst place you’ve ever been to?

Visaginis Lithuania, where they shot some of the Chernobyl TV series. Warned not to go out alone or after dark, even the Lithuanians we were working with were shit scared when they were there.

Calella, Spain around 2002. Really run down and tatty. Lots of petty theft like bag snatching and pick pocketing. Not Spanish. Didn't like it and didn't feel safe leaving the hotel at night.

Booked in the olden days when you had to go into a travel agent and the lady who booked it said it was nice!

Port Clarence
I’ve mentioned a few times on here how we used to pick a kid up on the way to Seal Sands Rd from Port Clarence in early 90s when I was working back up Norf for a few weeks. Didn’t have the heart to take him up on his offer of petrol money. Awful place, made Ryhope look like Cleading.
I’ll raise you plumbstead.

It’s gotta be up there. Or should that be down there. Mind there’s some lovely houses up the hill once you get away from the station/central area.
