Not sure why with these lads. I take people at face value and am a half full chap...Mr Donald and Mr Methven seem decent people and they have dramatically changed the direction the club is heading.

I support them and Im delighted they are staying on.
Got to agree with you. I actually met SD when I was back in Blighty either December last year or January this year. I can say from the limited conversation I had with him, he clearly has the best interests of the club at heart.

People need to stop worrying about Ross, Coton, Hill or anyone else at the club.

These new owners aren’t going to piss about. If absolutely anyone at the club (from Donald to the cleaners) aren’t performing, they won’t last long.

Don’t expect overnight results but in the long term, you can rest assured that they won’t suffer fools gladly.

Exactly...not sure what more they can do.

They have sorted the finances out and got 4 billionaires to invest.

The only people I see complaining are Mags. Given the Wums and a very small number of stupid / supposed Sunderland fans on here. Every SAFC fan I know is delighted with where we a re heading!

Happy times!!!

They will if Donald is running it
Its in there if you read it.

Steadied the ship and got 4 American billionaires to invest (with 1 the 25 richest man in the world). They have played an abslute blinder and deserve a chance to run the club given that the billionaires are American and will not be hands on.

If 4 billionaire businessman (with 1 the 25 richest man in the world) think they can run the show with all due respect who are you and others to question them before they have had an opportunity to show what they can do with proper investment?

With all due respect anybody against Mr Donald or Mr Methven, given where the Club could be in the next few days, is either a Mag, a Wum or if a Sunderland fan fcking stupid.

 they saw us on Netflix

The fact 11 players cant pass consistently to each other over 90mins says the training they do during the week is shit basic 5 a side helps movement and passing get better yet we cant string two passes together we had just over 50% pass success rate last night

Thought that must have been a lie - definitely a low point of the season..by 10% as well.

Oxford: 75%
Ipswich: 65%
Accrington Stanley: 74%
Portsmouth: 63%
Rochdale: 69%
Wimbledon: 80%
Burnley: 63%
Peterborough: 72%
Accrington Stanley: 69%
Rotherham: 53%

I’m just not sure deserving a chance with lots of money is a very good reason.
For the record I think they have done a good job steadying the ship certainly financially and have done some really good work with fan engagement. Stuff I’d like to see continue.

My concern is they haven’t really shown much acumen in terms of developing the football side. Neither have much/any track record in that, Donald spent relative fortunes at Eastleigh and didn’t manage to push them on as much as he should. We had a huge budget last year and did ok at best.

I’ll ignore the pointless jibe at the end.
