Am I right in thinking that even if they wanted to, they can't really pump money in at league one level?

FFP and lack of revenue being a big issue.

So they will help out however they can but until we get promoted their hands are tied?

No, quite the opposite in league one.

So this looks like it eh? If true then the hard work starts here. As we saw with Ellis Short just because you throw loads of money at a football club doesnt mean that you will be successful.

Ross, Donald and Methven, although not universally popular steadied the SAFC ship and for that we should be grateful but we now need a root and brach review at SAFC to put in place the best football administrators and scouts et al that we can.

Best of luck.
But we will definitlely be better than the mags the rest i can wait for but we owe them a tonking or two and for that i cant wait

I sometimes feel like I'm the only Sunderland fan that's not that excited about this. It might make a difference if we get out of this dreadful league I suppose.
You’re not, i might get excited when it’s a fact

It would have been appropriate if Reiver had made the last post on the Transfer Rumours thread. It was not to be.

A passive investor is one who does not participate in the day-to-day decisions of running a company. In partnerships, such investors may be deemed rather than . According to Steve Penman, "The passive investor assumes the market is efficient and that stocks are correctly priced to reflect the risk involved in buying the stock." A passive investor relies on the controlling stakeholders and the management to conduct the business of the corporation in such a way as both to maximize its value and to share the upside potential with the passive investor.

Blah, blah, blah, etc., etc.

So, does this mean Dell won't be standing in the Roker End? It's not that I object to him throwing his money around, but if he can't be bothered to come and support the lads, he shouldn't be getting tickets for Wembley.
