If you think the new lot would be buying us with the same disastrous off field performance as under Short then you're not just mad, you're willfully ignorant. Rumour has it the financial mess up the road is why they didn't buy the mags. The fact is no one would touch us and now they're on board.

Ive never once been negative regarding this, and at times Ive got carried away with myself hoping for a few more gold taps. I still think there needs to be a little sense of realism in the fact that 'we' as a club, arent going to be actually minted. It will be owned by a group of people who are. If there is a way of having the SAFC bank balance £500M in the black, then I will say we are minted. When I see the annual reports showing a positive turnover of 'x' million with profit, then I'll say 'we' are minted.
I really dont want to belittle the potential enormity of what is happening and I think its why some posters may come across as negative, or should I say, glass half empty rather than glass half full.
Time will tell. I am of course hopeful, as I have said previously, that this is the beginning of the final corner we need to turn in order for this football club to actually move forward consistently rather than having to turn a corner every 3 or 4 seasons and find ourselves back where we started

It’s not like, you can see in spells how Ross wants too play that it could be really good, just watch some of the passing moves that had led to some of our goals, we just don’t do it enough. BSA was route one very direct

I don’t have an agenda. I believe they got this football club for a song and yes, have done some work around cutting costs. I have never been a fan of them, from getting supporters in to replace the seats to the twitter presence, the denigration of agents via the podcasts, the undermining of the manager with the 100 point malarkey, the different accounts of the money that was used to purchase the club, the direct criticism of our fans following defeat at Wembley when we had 3-4K unsold tickets, the complete and utter mishandling of the Josh Maja situation and so on. That isn’t an agenda, that is just my take from their time at the club. I accept other people see things differently and if having them here means that we move on with what look to be serious investors, then fair enough. What I have never been able to accept is the complete disregard on this board for an alternative view to their presence.

It should also be noted that Donald has carried out many differing aspects of genuine human kindness during his time here and the people he has affected during that will be forever grateful. I completely understand and respect that.

None of it is saying he is a bad man, he isn’t. But at the same time, I don’t want him running this place.

I'm no fan of Allardyce but his side here was far better to watch than what Ross side is churning out.

Conversely have a look at some.....a lot....of the goals we concede, our defending is shambolic.
 
Hope we ram it up Rotherham tonight. It’ll be a hard drive home if we get beat. Looking toward to the new transfer windows in January but let’s not press select, alt and delete just because we have some more money but IT won’t define our season tonight.
