Takeover Rumours

Whilst appreciating what they've done I'm kind of with @Pepe on this one. I'm hoping for some big changes.
There will be changes I'm sure but the first one must be on the football side. I'm hoping we'll see a dof come in and overhaul the scouting and youth development.

Can't for the life of me upload a picture. The picture of Dell receiving his ALS gift was at a conference in london. So he may well be at the match tonight, all the 'big hitters' in a meeting at the stadium tomorrow to finalise and celebrate, announced Thursday, signed Mbappe by monday😎
GREAT WHERE

I have not read all 1531 pages so may be old news . But I have heard that takeover Is all but done with Donald only keeping 1% share in club .
My guess unless he is going to get a very good financial package as director he will keep 5% minimum.

See the miserable ***** have fucked off again at the hint of optimism. God they must be great to be around.
I'm pretty positive these days on here but sometimes more of a miserable **** outside of this forum so fuck knows what they're like  I know I'm not the only one as I used to see Farsebook/Tw@tter posts from people saying life is great when in reality it's f***ing not so I don't bother looking on there any more. This place however can be an addiction at times :lol:

LIterally not one Sunderland fan will be gutted, not one.

Find me a post in which any Sunderland fan says he hopes this doesn’t happen and I’ll never post on here again.

Can’t say fairer than that.
I see the Forum Notice at the top says the SMB search function will be down for next 24 hours due to overloading from 100's of people trying to use it at the same time!:lol:

I have never been Prime Minister either, am I not allowed a view on politics?

Your argument is nonsensical, that is why I am not arguing the toss over it.
My argument is just the facts in front of you, they came in when the club was at rock bottom and made wholesale changes from top to bottom and have the club going in the right direction again.

Like I said can’t even make a argument for the running of the club. Have you ran a football club before?
You slated Allardyce the other day? Have you ever managed a professional football team before or do you just talk a good game?

Jesus, in the world if the blind, the one eyed man is king.

You're either forgetting or willfully ignoring the absolute shambles we were in when they bought the club. They got it for a song because Short had made a monumental mess of his efforts at running it.

From that point they've turned us around off the field, particularly financially, and generated a much better culture and atmosphere. We sold more season tickets this season than last and they have embraced some wonderful initiatives like the flags in the south stand.

I'm not sure why you'd trust these billionaires who have no idea about the sport to run it, but not SD and CM. Short was richer than them too and did a horrendous job. I'd also imagine the wealthy investors have taken a gander at their strategy and deem it a sound one of they wouldn't be staying on.

In the interest of stability and seeing a plan through to completion it's a good idea to keep them on board. As we grow that may change but the animosity toward them from some posters given what they've achieved in just over a year (off the field) is crazy. We were going to the wall under an owner who had lost all interest and that seems to have been completely dismissed now.

Can someone explain to me where this monorail thing came from?
You know, a town with money's a little like the mule with the spinning wheel. No one knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to use it.
Homer:
Heh-heh, mule.
Lyle Lanley:
The name's Lanley, Lyle Lanley. And I come before you good people tonight with an idea. Probably the greatest—Aw, it's not for you. It's more a Shelbyville idea.
Mayor Quimby:
Now, wait just a minute. We're twice as smart as the people of Shelbyville. Just tell us your idea and we'll vote for it.
Lyle Lanley:
All right. I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll show you my idea. I give you the Springfield Monorail!
