Well aye exactly. All we can do is choose to believe one over the other. People tend to believe the option that suits them best.

Neither of us have any idea what was said between them so neither of us can be sure what exactly was said. All we can do is guess (and in some cases attach our own motives as justification of evidence)

All I said was was can't be sure after someone was passing it off as fact and for some reason you seem to have took exception to it.

It's hardlys strategic. Richard Hill didn't say owt until the Peterboro chairman spouted off. It's being quite transparent on our behalf. Prodded away with a straight bat.
 
If it happens every player we want will double or triple in price which theoretically shouldn’t matter really but if Donald has gone from 5% to 1% potentially reducing his stake in a £400 mill club by £16 mill this shows that Donald has best interests of club in mind and MSD are hard nosed business people who don’t fuck about and are very interested in saving £16 million

In your opinion, being clued up on all things money related, will the owners be able to find a workaround for SCMP/FFP in order to pump as much money into the transfer kitty as is needed?

Anar nowt about owt, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise to me if part of the deal (whether it be proposed or completed) involved Donald remaining as CEO for a fixed term (anything from 6 months upwards) with an effective break clause inserted that allows for him to be replaced (with his minority shareholding intact) after XYZ period if the new owners aren't impressed. Once they are effectively in the driving seat of the Sunderland Sherman, I doubt they'll let much get in their way en route to world domination. Where's my tongue, re: world domination? Oh, there it is, snugly tucked into my pig's cheek!

Makes sense, you never see the Queen and Prince Charles sharing the same plane in case of an accident. Same with these fellas, can’t afford to lose them all at this stage.
