Does anyone actually enjoy their job

It’s alright, I’m bored of it at the moment. Might need a new role, company is canny, everyone’s a hypocrite like... but that’s normal isn’t it?

Chair’s got wheels, 2 monitors, 37 hours a week. 6minute commute... not horrendous

The people I work with know very little about me. I’m of the view that the more people know about you the more they have to judge me on. Doesn’t stop them trying though, I’m an “enigma” apparently because I like to keep my life outside of work private.
I used to be like the others but some drone on about low level trivia e.g. what colour their kitchen tiles are, or what their kids have done. I have my own problems but I ask on here or even refer to experts, rather than bang on about it to colleagues. I think that many are looking for affirmation of their inane life decisions.
I think most are mate. I think they become some form of Crucible where peoples' hang ups/traits get magnified. Having said that, I had a psychiatrist as a customer once, once he divulged that, there was fuck all conversation in the car apart from directions and fixes. Ah was shit scared of getting sectioned. "Did you have a good day yesterday?" "Fuck off, turn right at the end of the road, and no I did not mention sex."
You’re a taxi driver?

 Driving instructor, marra.

I loved my job, fantastic money, hours were great and flexible, retired at 50 and I love not working even more than working, long time dead, fuck working to the grave, I enjoy life.

Like mine however firm is full of politics at the moment, a lot of people moving around in the industry

The civil service is notorious for loads of nosey old ***** who cant help but ask questions about people , alternatively, feed them a load of shite

Depends what day it is. f***ing hate Monday’s and Wednesdays due to the classes I get and the meetings I have to attend.

The rest of the week i don’t actually mind getting out of bed to go to work.

I love and hate mine like.
Great money, great prospects and i love being in charge.
I hate that I’m on call 24/7 and I know people say that but I really am.
I’ve been fishing/at parties and had to drop everything to go in.
So are you teetotal then? Must be shite that.

Only been in my current job 2 weeks but I enjoy it so far. More money and less responsibility than the last one, office is much more relaxed and the subject matter is much more interesting (or rather the non-financial stuff is, there’s only so much excitement you can get out of monitoring budgets).

Love it, but rather not be there.
Shift work which I love, but working weekends often is a shitter, as is nights and early early mornings.
However I then love finishing early and having days off midweek

I don't like hard graft, but a job where I did the square root of fuck all would feel like I was wasting my life even more.

I'd love a job I was passionate about, but they all end up being repetitive.
