Hope that little rat boy chokes on his bubble gum, the scruffy kernt
With this likely to be Gowers day, I wonder if anything has been set up for his departure?

Remember old Richie Benaud in 2005 bowing out in style, with a classic description of pietersen getting out to McGrath?

The game stopped for a standing ovation for sadly missed Richie
I hope he goes out like Arlott and not like Blofeld

Ponting just reminded me about day/night test matches.

Will it happen again in England?

From BBC,

Noticeable how much David Warner is booed on the way out, compared to how little Steve Smith gets on the way in. One has earned respect with weight of runs, while the number of runs for Warner to earn that respect probably doesn't exist.
That’s fair enough. If smith could tone down his ridiculous patter, he would be admired more

Warner was and still beyond any doubt nowhere near redemption

He will be a rich, little and lonely angry man when he retires

Daily mail article today about yesterday’s sledging

Apparently last 2 tests Warner has reverted to his own ways

People can’t change that much

I suspect that might be his last test match here

Warner has hardly played cricket in any sense this series, a few catches aside
