It’s a different set of owners now who should refuse to pay the high agents fees if Allerdyce came along...On the pitch he wouldn’t be a problem he would walk League One. The problem would be the stupidly high agent fees and the mercenaries that down tools when the mood suits them.
but he steals from us? that just cant be excused.Regardless of your personal opinion on him, if you didn't know it was Allardyce and you just saw his managerial record, you'd have whoever it was here in a heartbeat.
He's exactly what we need.
From the US guys POV they'll be well aware of sports analytics due to it's prevalence particularly in the NFL where sport comes secondary to science. Allardyce certainly was, and maybe still is, the very best of this.
For those wondering about whether or not he'd be the right fit in the PL? He's 64, would probably only get a 3 year contract and he'd be 67 by the time it expired...he wouldn't get a second contract anyway. But he'd certainly get us to where we need to be in 3 years to kick on.
No braniner for me.
Football has always been a corrupt sport, from the top to the grass roots, with underhand payments.but he steals from us? that just cant be excused.
Just your opinion Mara.Him having to leave before a pre-season game is even finished is astonishingly bad timing to be fair. He's a prick and I don't see how any SAFC fan can have any respect for him after he acted that way.
Even Sir Alex Ferguson conducted in utter nepotismFootball has always been a corrupt sport, from the top to the grass roots, with underhand payments.
People are being naive here.
If some people had seen the skysports coverage of him at that game they’d have a different opinion of him. Dismissing bairns with a wave of his hand, fawning to the cameras, me me ME.Him having to leave before a pre-season game is even finished is astonishingly bad timing to be fair. He's a prick and I don't see how any SAFC fan can have any respect for him after he acted that way.
I just dont want him here duo to that is that so hard to understand? i dont feel im in the wrong for having this feeling? when he is busted in it?Football has always been a corrupt sport, from the top to the grass roots, with underhand payments.
People are being naive here.
He didn't shaft us like, football fans are just fannys. Nobody would've said he shafted us, had Moyes not been so shite and Short's mismanagement finally dishing the fatal blows.
all about opinions,i think the way he went on he most certainly did,not sure where Moyes and Short comes into this like, but we all know he made things a thousand times worse
@PhilSAFC ?Are you OK rockster pet? I still love you! Though not as much as your funnier brother! x
He got offered the England job whilst managing Sunderland. I don't think taking that really eqautes to a shafting unless you look at it with heavy red tinted bias.
The reason I mention Moyes and Short is because there's a sense of extra bitterness towards Allardyce due to how shit we were the next season. Had Moyes done alright, I doubt people would've said BSA had shafted us, infact I think they'd be saying he shafted himself.
