I think even Hank would be struggling after 5 bottles of wineNuther bottle at H/T one after, then one on the train......aaaa was Fookin battered....
DThe point is he was a JR signing not one made by the chairman
There were no reservations apart from they thought he was paying too muchI disagree.
Identified by those employed by SD.
The deal negotiated by SD despite reservations expressed.

I'm not. I'm simply saying the recruitment at the club seems to have more to do with the likes of Donald, Coton, and Hill than it does Jack Ross.Donald said that Ross wanted Grigg but when the price went up for him Ross told him to leave it and they would just go with what they had. Donald thought he'd get him in because Grigg's record at this level was exceptional and he wanted to back the manager. It's all on the podcasts.
Donald may say too much at times or get a bit carried away with himself but I don't see how you can have a go at him for putting his money on a player that seemed worth the risk. Even a half fit Grigg should be putting goals away but he just doesn't look interested and that's not Stewart Donald's fault.
Best thing the MODS could do is lock this thread

Thats just one i could find quickly. There are numerous others from both SD and JR about him being the managers number one choice to replace Maja
He has told everyone his version of events which have been proven to be factually incorrect. He hasn’t come out with any baloney, just told everyone what is happening
Hawkins done us when he came on, but once we introduced Ozturk in the later fixtures we were sorted. Hawkins kicked out at him at one point in frustration of being completely dominated.Yeah, you had us on toast first half, although didn't do much with it in terms of chances. Second half we made some changes, and you couldn't handle us.
Fair enough but those things are easy said after the event. You must be logged on to see external links

We weren't sublime like. I think one or two were maybe caught up in the occasion and maybe had one or two beers and look back on it with red n white specs. We were value for 1-0 but let's not kid ourselves that we were any better than that.
No, not saying the papers are lying. I think you're both wrong too. There are numerous others if you can be bothered to find them. The article even says the manager "landed his number one target". They will be lying aswell

Thats just wrong, we let you back in.
He was the manager's number 1 choice. There's no argument of that from me.
However, SD overspent on him. SD admitted himself in a podcast that he got carried away/excited at the prospect and kept bidding more.
Neither of them are fully to blame. It was JR's target, it was SD's overspending.
No striker for 20 Fookin mins...
