I'm personally inclined to go along with it, with him having sources discoverd to be in connection with the new owners on social media. If the deal does in fact fall through I'd then start asking the questions.
 
People who are close to the club have said it’s pretty much done.
The club have leaked stuff to fanzines and local press saying its to all intents and purposes done.
Reiver has seen a message to one of our new owners congratulating him on the purchase of the club.
The BBC have said they believe it’s a done deal just awaiting final ratification and don’t envisage any problems.
There’s an overwhelming body of evidence that suggests it’s done but somehow one comment out of the blue without any evidence to back it up causes people to start panicking!
I know we’ve had years of grief to put up with but the good times are around the corner!!
Patience will reward us !!

Is there anything to suggest it won't go through? Last I checked it was all going along fine, there was just a slight delay in the finalisation.

Okay you gone all crazed stalker on us AP. Maybe he’s jumped the gun but he’s been pretty straightforward about what and how he knows stuff. Horses mouth type shit so there’s no reason to think he’s bullshitting. Is it the Sunderland fan in you that is driving the doubt? I’m not hanging on any words from anyone but I’m also not going to call out a well respected poster. Just here waiting for the good news and a new chapter in our history.

If it goes tits up I’ll be selling pitchforks 😉

Crazed stalker? Just quoted the posts in which he said it was done. It's obviously not done. If it eventually gets done he'll be right, if it goes to shite then I guess he'll just say it was undone.

Either way, I hope he's paying crowing in a few days about how he told us so.

I wouldn't be surprised as I personally think it it'll be done before long.
