Barnes knows bot all. Yes as you say their army of accountants, advisors and lawyers would have had the legal, financial and commercial DD finished ages ago..

Agreed. To be honest I doubt they'd bother going to a game if they haven't even completed due diligence. Plus in the grand scheme of things SAFC aren't really a massive company or anything, whatever is holding it up I doubt it's due diligence

SunDELLand t-shirts n that, ffs.

They fell for it hook, line and sinker without any hesitation. I’m still convinced it’s happening, but as time wears on there are question marks about it. And if it goes tits up, Donald can’t use the line about it not being right for the club when the entire ethos of this lot is that they do things for the long term.

I meant mebbes that’s the sticking point? He’s on the board atm without having hoyed much money in if any apparently. Mebbes under the new regime he loses that board role and becomes an employee?

Oh I see. Yes maybe a possibility for sure. Personally I think he is a good fella to have on the board as he's a terrific public speaker, far more so than SD, can't see any issue with him being on the board. Plenty of huge plc's are run by folk with totally insignificant amounts of skin in the game, your average CEO will just have options and bonuses etc typically making up less than a fraction of 1% of the issued share capital. SAFC is a private company but still no difference plenty directors on the boards with little to zero stake in the business.
