Yep. The northeast, league one club supporters and exiled safc fans will care a lot when it goes through. No one else.

If and when we are in the Championship and headed back to the PL, especially if we do what Wolves did and sign some expensive players, the rest of the country will be aware.

If we get into the PL that will extend to PL fans around the world as it will be talked a out when we play. They won't particularly care unless we become a force though.

We're barely remembered from being in the PL last time - as you know, most people here seem to follow the "giants," except for exiles or the small number of people with a specific reason for following a different team, and for the couple of years before we went down most of our games were on the app, unless we were playing one of the big boys, so I'd guess most viewers of those games were either exiles or people who already had a specific reason for following us or the opposition, and not much casual traffic who just happened to watch our games while flipping. People with a new interest in say the past 5 years will probably not know who we are.
 

Just seen on the ten o'clock news Newcastle making headlines again with the bedsheets... good job we arent being bought out or owt, might be all over the ten oclock news :lol:
 
Would imagine they went through customs with Samson Aviation based at the Airport. I've done a bit work in there and was asking the crack with the staff. Basically most of the rich and famous use it to avoid being seen/hassled in the airport
 
On Facebook someone was looking for a DJ for 4-5 hours at the SOL on Thursday night , didn't think much about it at the time other than I would have thought they would have a resident DJ , on reflection could it be connected to the takeover and that's the celebration/event ? Would also tie in with the Hilton Hotel being fully booked for invited guests, just saying !
 
Really hope its them and announcement is made by the end of this week at the latest , but there seems to be alot of clutching of straws that there actually on this flight !

Might be someone's anniversary or birthday.
 
Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but Michael dells personal jet is a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. He also owns a private jet company called netjets so if he was travelling via a small jet it makes it would be owned by this company.

Don't get me wrong, nobody derives greater joy in the miracle of new life than me. IF this turns out to be true I will be happy for them. It just seems to me we are all taking the word of some random pilot as fact.
