So, to save me from wading thru 1225 pages of complete and utter conjecture, am I safe in saying nothing has been agreed to the full and certain knowledge of anyone other than Club management however a statement is anticipated sooner rather than later ?

They made cuts to staff and have made the offices more efficient. That's great and it was needed, it is not what will put the club in the premiership though.

Without someone with a clear and intelligent plan having the authority to implement it throughout the club, it will require billions for this club to compete under the current "model" which completely contradicts what they can claim to have done well.

They're successful businessmen who are football fans, Id suggest we leave the business side to them and have someone who is more learned In the modern football approach to take on that side of the club.
The ticket office is more efficient?

Picking holes in what? I’ve picked holes in the obvious as people are lapping up the shit RR are coming out with. Merely pointing out what the bbc are reporting is just cause for you to start this patter?

This takeover crack has ballooned your ego like. Getting embarrassing now.

There's nee cracks in the takeover yet. Fail to see why cracks would balloon his ego.

Nick Barnes reckons it will happen for anyone who thinks he would be itk

Good to get back to the day to day business of The Match and getting down to making notes for Saturday's game at Accrington Stanley. Fed up with all the take-over talk and the hyperbole flying around. It will happen when it happens .... and it will I'm sure. But all those asking why it's taking so long, well, think about it. These guys are billionaires because they look at every aspect of anything they are investing in, and at the same time Stewart Donald wants to make sure they are the right people to invest. They're not asking to have a look at Stewart's Post Office Saving's book - they are looking under every stone, every pebble, in every cupboard, at every contract and if you think this can be achieved in a few days then you're living in cloud cuckoo land!! On top of all that the EFL then have to agree to the deal ..... and bearing in mind their experience with Bury and Bolton I suspect their due diligence may be more diligent than ever.

This seems to be the opposite of what everyone else is saying, mind. Still being in due diligence is miles off 'done deal' that the fanzines/Reiver etc has been saying.

Good Point. I should clarify and state I meant the marketing as opposed to all offices.

Define sooner.

There is no way I’d trust jack Ross with any amount of transfer budget after the way he’s spent every single penny we have got. It’s no different to the way we used to spend money under Ellis short nobody has any value it’s just taking whoever we can in volume instead of spending a decent amount on a few players and building up from there

Crack is the correct spelling. And @PhilSAFC, incidentally, is bang on with his observation.

Correct. Though the last bit is yet more conjecture.

I'm not convinced Jack Ross has spent a single penny. There's plenty to suggest he hasn't.

Be interesting to chart the time that elapses between the euphoria of the deal being announced officially, people buying Dell products and making up crap puns - we’re (lap)top of the league and so forth, and the first thread saying “what have these Yankee bastards done for the club really?” when we’re not top six in the premier league after 18 months. Or something.
those will be the 'fans' that return to the club once it's 'fashionable' to support a PL club again
