Takeover Rumours

When it happens will you be on here and looking forward to a bright future with the rest of us or will you crawl back under your rock never to be seen until we next lose?

What do you think? Read my last post again. If you read it through and understood it, which I doubt, you will have read the sentence "I want something good to happen to us". If there is anything about that sentence that you don't quite follow please feel free to ask any question you may have.

I have waited and waited and craved for something good to happen so much at times it has ached. It has felt like I have wanted something good (properly good - not like the three Wembley finals where they all ended up in a loss) to happen more than anything in my own life. If you ask me to choose between us getting promotion and flying to some fancy holiday destination like France or Spain or own a really nice car I would have had a genuinely tough time deciding. I would probably go for one season of promotion over an Aston Martin Vanquish for life so if one didn't work or I crashed it I would just have a new one. THAT is how much I want us to do well. So don't ever question my desire to want the club to have some success.

It was written a lot on here many moons ago about possible hold ups and the one thing which does not get much of a mention now is the EFL.

All kinds of stuff regarding owners stalling, solicitors conning , council inept etc.

To me they've been here to stadium , they've come back to look around AOL and Christ they've even been up in helicopters surveying the lie of the land.

I think they like a kid who is promised a dog but it's in quarantine so he can only visit it on a daily basis.

So it's EFL in my opinion that's the hold up.

Certain people on here are absolutely desperate for it to be off for some bizarre reason. There’s no way it’s off - as @Reiver and others have said, there’s no point announcing a takeover then having nothing else because it would fall flat. Then because of Bolton and Bury the EFL will crawl all over the paperwork for a change - again though given how much these blokes are worth that won’t be a problem.

We've all been kicked in the nuts plenty of times by this club mate. But the new owners have had 18 months and the new lads are on board, we've just had to wait a couple of weeks for it to be made official/public.

Hold on a little longer. Dare to dream, otherwise what's the point.

Though the way the forum bangs on it's like I am the only one that hasn't been kicked in the balls as well as the teeth. The way it bangs on you would be forgiven for thinking I am the only Sunderland fan who ought to be enjoying each season and I ought to be grateful for it. I am not allowed to feel disappointed you see on this place.

I'm sad I nar but I've just watched a youtube video of one that's for sale and they're excessive like. Marble counter tops, what appears to be touch screen controls for the pilots, the works.
Name names, no one is going to get you at playtime

You can't promise him that, the schoolyard is a vicious place.

Everybody is waiting man, stop being so selfish, just makes you look like an adult attention seeker.
