San Marino's manager hopefully.

Today mate and Tbf it might mean nowt. He’s likely to know nothing.:)

He was asked about imminent announcement and he said not sure where you’ve heard that, EFL approval still required. He also mentioned that they are looking at every aspect of club

Thanks.

That ties in with what I was told a fortnight back, that they'd go through the club from top to bottom.

I think he's wrong about the EFL though, I was told they'd had the papers ages ago and all was well.

The paperwork appears to be the aftermath and 'snagging'.

After the way the EFL fucked up with Bolton & Bury there's absolutely zero chance they won't approve these people.

The club need to get a move on, with a statement, before the Accrington game ... otherwise they'll find themselves deemed partially culpable if we lose.

I can hear Ross now, 'Well the players have a lot of distractions and weren't on our usual fast paced game and straight out of the blocks'

Mentions it here in a different tweet that is still in the same original tweet question from David somewhere. It's daft how twitter works as depending on which tweet you look at you only see certain replies! Can I fuck get a tweet that shows all 3 by Barnes and I get 2 at most.

This is the one he mentions EFL stuff

Nor a good football commentator

Money. Plain and simple. Buy us for £40-50 million, invest £100-150 million to get us established in the premier league and that’s still only half what Ashley wants for the mags. Yes there’s uncertainty around promotion but the infrastructure is better here than many other clubs and we own both the stadium and academy. The Netflix documentary has given a global audience to the club that they also want to capitalise on.

Alternatively they could spend £400 million buying the mags then another £100-150 million on getting them higher than they are now. That just isn’t as good a return.

Aye, that's more or less his guess . But my own thought was there are easier, more predictable ways of earning a return on your cash. A lot can go wrong in football, and the prize down a few years if we got everything right of say £100m or even double it, divided between them seems a bit low level for guys this wealthy.

But as I say, I know bugger all! All the better if these lads show up and aren't needing a big return I suppose.

I wonder if they put money aside to invest in which results in the profits going to the club??? I know SD used an example of buying a few hotels that could generate 10M a season towards transfers.

The club have clearly given Roker Report the go ahead for the podcast so I reckon the news will officially come out some time tonight.
I thought RR and ALS were absolutely independent voices. I can see BBC radio and TV/ITV and the echo waiting for SAFC approval but these fanzines are run by fans right? I’d be disappointed to think ALS in particular waited for club approval.

Nah you said club is in control of their output and would order them to pull anything that isn’t true so I guess Keane and sam are coming back as a management dream team.

Why the fuck are you so deliberately contrary? There's not a snowball's chance in hell they'll be coming here. There's no comparison between a Twitter joke and a podcast. I'm really starting to think you actually want this to fall through.

Everyone knows there will be elements of our support who will twist like fuck even IF this goes through. Predicted comments post takeover until say 5 years time:

Well we have new owners - wow. Let's see what they do in January before we all get carried away.

All of this counts for nothing unless we go up this season.

Now we are in the Championship let's see if these lot will invest further in the club. Not getting excited until I see progress on the pitch.

Well we might be third in the league but I don't see top 2 happening.

We fluked promotion to the Premier League, let's be honest. Now we are here are we aiming for 17th again like under previous billionaire owner Short?

We only got 12th in our first season back at the top because the owners made those couple of key signings in January.

Well battling Everton for 7th place is all well and good, but we have sold our soul? I wish for the days of being beaten by PeterfuckingBorough 0-3.

Etc etc...
I can think of 3 posters who will be bookmarking your post so they can use various lines in the future :lol:
