It’s getting a tad deranged on here now. Cabin fever probably.
I think at 22:00hrs GMT we should all go out for a ten minute stroll, get some fresh air, look up at the moon and stars and admire their glory, ponder both our and the takeovers insignificance in comparison to the universes sheer unending vastness. Just for ten minutes. Then come back in for another 2million views.
Waddya say?

I respectfully bow to your superior knowledge, Mr Collins. Thank you for keeping me reet. Of the little knowledge I do have, I'm aware that the noise could be excruciating at times. Especially (I believe, but correct me if I'm wrang) in the "double bottoms"?
I forgot the oakum or cord as it was described the shipwrights did the woodwork decking the caulkers did the steel.

re double bottoms, I was working as an apprentice on one of the shire boats at doxfords when i think it was 6 lads died in the shaft tube (part of the double bottoms from a fire started by a burner cutting torch, as apprentices we all hated one job, cabling the lighting system in the DB access tunnels. if you want more info !!!!!! even in the 60s boys were 'used'

My fatha told me about a fire which killed a few blokes when he worked in doxfords. Must have been that one. Poor buggers

That deserves a piping hot Alf Tupper supper: a fish parking lot. Easy on the sea mineral dressing & malted wine sauce.

Nostalgia aint as good as it used to be .........alf tupper there is a blast from the past i loved the victor as a kid but now i find it a tad two dimentional
