I know a woman is not a 'Guy' so collectively they cannot be referred to as 'Guys'. That's where the Yanks and the internet generation get this important technical detail wrong. The word 'Guy' is used to refer to the sex of a person who has a wanger, women don't have wangers so cannot be classed as guys in the plural form!!

Not offended, more amused by the amount of caveats the thrown in even after the author -states "We do not yet know the extent of the new owners' ambitions for the club, nor how much they are prepared to invest" and then goes on to say why it won't happen.

In comparison to the tone that was used by the Chronicle when the Mags had their fake sheikh -
