I have a similar story in the beginning away. I was shooting rabbits and spugies at 5,6 years old, this was what my foster father did to toughen me up emotionally and when i cried i took a thrashing. That's how thing were in the eighties and probably still not as tough as it was for grandparents.

Exactly. Steve Hackett picked us up after a gig and took us for a meal before dropping us off at the station. The restaurant was closed but opened up when he waved some cash at the owner.
