I get what people are saying but aside from us in the NE, Very few would really give a shite about a League One club getting taken over. If it was announced by Ipswich they had new multi-billionaire owners we would be pissed off that it wasn’t us but thats about as far as it would stretch..

There is definitely an "underlying" loss if you ignore the Parachute income. I'm not sure of the current run rate if its included though. In any event I'd be surprised if either SD or CM have put their own cash in to meet costs.

Family member who has since passed was a school teacher in Surrey and AP's daughter was in his class. Family was big spurs fan. Spoke to him couple of times, more so when he was at palace and said he was a lovely bloke. Was football mad and did a lot with the school. Strange how people come through differently
