Can people really see dodgy BSA and SD getting on??? I know SD would never agree a deal like Kone where the player is meant to get a new contract and pay rise just for doing his job for 6 months.

I wouldn't be against BSA if it was possible, but I just wonder how the chemistry between the two would work.

Unusual surname, wasn't Bob Tonna was it? I know he retired a few months ago so may have more time on his hands, probably 2+2 = 5.

These fellas are each individually registered with and regulated by the US Federal Security and Exchange Commission ("Sec"). The ongoing review and scrutiny of registered investment advisors in particular the rules and tests regarding Felons and Bad Actors are way, way beyond rigorous. They were extreme in any case but post crash/Lehmans etc are now pretty scary as are the penalties for improper behaviour. Federal law prison sentences for beaching rules and mis guiding investors are typically 40+ years. It is impossible to imagine the MSD partners will do anything other than sail straight through our football regulator's fit and proper tests. Additionally all of the information will have been available to the football authorities and the click of a mouse, such is the absolutely routine nature of providing such data to vendors, acquirers, lenders and all of their associated advisors. Pretty much every new transaction they enter will require their past, current and future integrated financials + a multitude of other documentation. Said data will be kept permanently up to date by a small army of accountants and lawyers not least to be able to file the necessary quarterly returns to the SEC but also to perform the day to day transactions of their business.

Speculation. There’s a lot of people getting a bit carried away (I know for some it’s tongue in cheek but there’s a lot where it’s genuine).

I hope there’s not a backlash against the new owners on here if/when they retain Ross, Coton and Hill (at least initially) and don’t rock up with Wenger, Allardyce and Keane on their first day.

To be fair we could have sold Kone for about £15 million profit after 6 so I think he’s exactly the sort of signing Donald would like!

But I doubt SD would of agreed to the original deal resulting in him not signing.

I always thought Kone was very limited and that was even when BSA managed him.
