Takeover Rumours

I'm just a supporter like anyone else mate and entitled to dream, post opinions and use guesswork.

I'm not being paid for this but have posted things I've been told by someone close to the current owners, a solicitor with direct contact and a personal friend of Fuhrman. I've posted whatever I could because I know there are lots of people desperate for information.

As I keep trying to emphasise, not even the people directly involved can be sure when they'll be in a position to be confident they can announce everything to the media.

We can't afford to mess this up ....

... it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Exactly mate. The whole board runs on opinions of people. You don't need me to tell you the majority on here appreciate the bits of info you have given, and the honesty. You are entitled to your opinion on it all the same as anyone else on here. We all want it as soon as we can, but most of us don't know the dealings of multimillion pound takeovers. Keep up the good work where you can, and good luck in the interview tomorrow.

On a side note to everyone. Ignore the Mags trying to come on. They are still waiting on their Arab takeover from months ago  They don't have anything else ATM, so they need us

That's what I'm expecting. Ross to be given the next few months. If we're approaching January window and not top of the league he may be relieved of his duties and another manager given a chance.

When people talk about big name managers coming to us in league one all I can think of is Sven at Notts County. Arguably a top manager dropping down the leagues has more to lose than to gain in terms of reputation. If they get us back up to the PL then that's just meeting expectation, if league one is too different from their prior experiences and they can't manage it they look like an idiot.
Hope to hell he is not given any time needs to be shown the door, its horrific to watch

Just seen Micheal Dell queuing up for Passion, said it's a done deal and Neymar should finalise his deal to join us for £200m in January Monday.

It's interesting how people at the club aren't leaking at all about even such a momentous change in our fortunes. Jings, when Quinny was chairman we used to know the day before what the team was... and the subs... and the ball-boys..

Not really. What was it like having to watch us play all them teams at the highest level possible?

No matter how rich you may or may not be I highly doubt I will have to watch Barcelona get humbled from Sunderland in the champions league

Honestly? You can choose to believe whatever you like, but it didn't bother me. Would I like to see us there? Yes of course, and you must be thankful you got to experience it, but banter aside, all I care about in the football world is Sunderland. Since being relegated, I don't know an awful lot about the PL anymore, I rarely watch match of the day and I rarely watch live PL games. I know that's not necessarily the norm, but I have just as much enjoyment staying in touch with the championship and watching the rest of the highlights on Quest. Does that mean I don't want to see us in the PL, no, of course not. I want us to be the best we can possibly be.

I think the rivalry is good fun, but I do sometimes wonder if it holds both clubs back somewhat and adds an unnecessary pressure.
