To be fair when things have been his opinion/ guess he's made that clear, not as if he's trying to pass opinion off as fact. Hell, if opinions, guesses or suggestions weren't allowed this thread would be a hell of a lot shorter! He's just joining in the speculation like the rest of us, which given the info he's been providing I'd say he's more than entitled to
 
True. It still gives a club a big profile on the continent though. Clubs like Roma, Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSV, Juventus, Monaco etc will know Newcastle and the mags from playing us in European competition. They likely won't know who Sunderland are.

Same way that casual English fans will have heard of clubs like deportivo la Coruna and Leverkusen etc due to their champions league campaigns

I'm just a supporter like anyone else mate and entitled to dream, post opinions and use guesswork.

I'm not being paid for this but have posted things I've been told by someone close to the current owners, a solicitor with direct contact and a personal friend of Fuhrman. I've posted whatever I could because I know there are lots of people desperate for information.

As I keep trying to emphasise, not even the people directly involved can be sure when they'll be in a position to be confident they can announce everything to the media.

We can't afford to mess this up ....

... it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Short sacked Coleman so Donald could hire his own man and not pay his compo.

The compo won’t be an issue here but these fellas might want a clean deck and to hire their own man and as people have said not have to back him on the first day to then sack him after 2 games.

As much as you want to believe it, they won't however have strong memories of Newcastle, it's the same as us playing Port Vale or Grimsby in the championship in the early 90s. You have the recollection, but forget the results, it wasn't romantic and there are no strong feelings there.

People will know Newcastle. They were the club Michael Owen enjoyed not playing for. I think he said something about them, I can’t quite remember the detail.
