And make no mistake, Messrs Fuhrman, Phelan and Platek, with Michael Dell in the background, are heavyweights.
Even so, it is not the be all and end all. According to the most recent Deloitte Money League, Manchester United are the planet’s third richest club, yet finished sixth in last season’s Premier League. Despite dominating their own leagues, second-placed Barcelona and fourth-placed Bayern Munich have not won the European Cup for four and six years respectively. Everton were ranked the world’s 17th richest club, Newcastle United 19th.

Shitting their pants man trying to convince themselves even if it happens it won't make a difference.

If it was the other way around the Chronicle would of had at least 6 different special edition papers. One for each investor, one for Dell (alot of the simpletons wont know about Dell computers) and one comparing how wealthy they would be compared to other clubs.

Must be absolutely gutted and its brilliant!
Boycott Dell and buy acer :)

That's the several billion dollar question. How do you square the circle of "we're the richest club in the known universe, but we're also in league one" ?

I'd worry anyone A-list who'd take it would be doing so for the money and I'd like to let someone with good philosophy build the club slowly so they and the squad can grow with us through the leagues as Leicester and Bournemouth have done. Not as exciting but a better bet in the long-term I'd think.
Na...fuck that.

I want the best available and willing to come ( for the cash) of course but, lets bulldozer our way back and catch up asap for top ten then upwards.

Life is passing us all by too quickly so let's see us win something as soon as f***ing possible. Please!

Not forgetting they will have already simulated the scenario on footy manager and reported how the next few years planned out

Obviously getting ahead of ourselves a bit but I think a lot of big name managers would want it if the money was there, not just for the cash but also to be part of an actual project. Lots of managers mention projects, but a real chance to take SAFC from league one to, potentially, having a competitive premier league side (depending on how much they are going to be able to put in), that has to be an appealing challenge. Certainly if they do make a change they'll want it to be a statement. I think Ross will stay for more mind, but the pressure really will be on him, these owners will definitely demand promotion

I suggested earlier that there may be tension between the current and new owners.

That was a guess, as I hope I made clear, based on things I'd picked up but hadn't been directly told.

I've been informed that there is no such issue so happily admit my guess, in this case, was entirely incorrect.

Hahahahahahahaha

I clicked on the link last night that took me to a mag forum. The one midds mods. This poster Fitzgerald was a regular poster on there spitting out his bile about us. I can’t understand if he hates us so much why he would spend his time on here but he does and he will have been a poster banned and using another name, probably Benjamin.
I don’t understand why mag posters like him are not banned. They are not here to promote healthy reasonable debate.
Seing as the mods don’t ban the likes of him I have, tonight, put him on ignore.
That’s what you have to do. When there is no one willing to indulge him he might just feck off.

Everyone should do that for Sima as even though hes been shown up to be a complete snake he is still allowed to be here...

For anybody who is unsure about what I mean check out his comments on the Newcastle Forums about this site and its members this is only a snippet too I'd imagine there is a lot worse...

Sounds like you've been told off
