Takeover Rumours

Pretty much. Said he needs to hear why we fell short etc and we should be looking for real answers and not just bluff and nowt will change.

Basically

Maybe he questioned Ross enough to make him think about leaving.

I could have forgot the draws and losses at the end of the season. The way we let teams back into both finals was shocking. The playoff final was a joke, showed the mentality he had instilled in the team that they didnt just go for blood after that own goal. They were shell shocked and we should have went all out for 10 - 15 mins but instead we sat back and let them grow back into it.

Like play ground stuff, start 1-0 up and absolutely bottled it, still seething now when I think about it, Ross was dead to this club the minute that final whistle blew
Yep, I’ll never take to Ross after the embarrassment that day. Last minute winner was a good thing tbh, we’d have been beat in ET and we all knew that at the time.

Ffs , leaves everyone on tender hooks , will it happen , will it improve things , will Manager change , what are the disagreements ...... when these things drag on people get nervous that it’s gonna crash

Maybe, but then Reiver mentioned about how it would look bad if someone involved in the publicity suddenly left the next day, which sounds like more than just agreements being done on time (especially when the little info we've had suggests it's all been signed off and it's just the announcement we're waiting on). The idea of an uneasy alliance also ties in with this, Methven not a fan of Ross, Donald is, god knows what the new owners want in terms of manager, but that seems the most likely thing that could delay an announcement

If it's a staffing issue, it may be less likely to be Ross. With managers and others on fixed-term contracts, it tends to be sack first and sort out the payoff later. More likely possibilities would be negotiating termination payments for senior members of staff on standard employment contracts. Examples here, for example, could be Angela Lowes or Tony Davidson. I'm not sure what kind of contract Hill and Coton are on. Alternatively, there could be delays on agreeing contracts for any incoming DoF or manager.
