The rumoured new owners heard the chant whilst the mags were on Sky, (they were considering buying them hence taking in a game), had their interest pricked by the fact such a massive clerb were constantly referring to another team whilst their idols were on the pitch, decided to take a look at the series and bobs our uncle.....takeover

That would be very ironic.

To be fair if you were a foreign investor and did some research you would soon suss that the 2 clubs are of a similar size, but we could be bought as cheap as cheesy chips.

What relevance is that to a football team..?

Typical superior mag attitude...Keegan and '92 and the ride thereafter was the exception and not the norm....count yr titles against ours.

Man Utd still your current rivals' cos if so they've absolutely pissed all over you in terms of silverware over the last 25 years.
