Takeover Rumours

I'm still saying Friday daytime so they can maximise the impact and leave the Mag biased media with no option but to cover it properly.

The local press, especially, have been excluded from breaking the news exclusively which serves the fuckers right.

This will be wonderful watching Look North squirming

Dawn will be "ill" no doubt. Leave it to Jeff with a big grin on his face.

Doubt this marwood fella is going to be leaving city to come to sunderland mind

People might be gettimg slightly carried away
they were tongue in cheek comments, same as not going to get wenger or henry north of Watford. However without ambition you stay where you are or regress

a dream is but a dream

MeToo! I've got to take the nippers to Legoland in a bit, so no doubt there'll be another 50 pages by the time I get back. Bring it on.
This whole thing like a dream, and I'm a bit scared of waking up to find we've been sold to Phillip Green and sponsored by Greggs:(
Nightmare. Have fun a Lego land. I'm taking my nephew on the South Devon steam train for the day. Haway the extra 50 pages tonight

No hard evidence, but if I was buying us and planned a change, I'd hold fire on player spend until the new manager had worked with the squad, and decided what changes he wanted in January; the current squad should be more than capable of keeping pace at the very least. Call it circumstantial evidence on the basis of Monday.
You've posted what most would see as a common sense approach ...Hold tight.

OK boys and girls, I've just been given permission to post a little of what I've been told by a mate who's relative is at NY private jets.
An identical plane to the one that arrived for the Wimbledon game will arrive into NCL airport tomorrow.
No details on markings etc because that would compromise his job and neither of them owe me a thing.

I've also been told by someone in the media that his mate in the London press has been told to look at trains to the NE ...
... just watch, Ashley will be announcing he's wiped the debt and giving the club to NUST

We are in a bizarre situation at the minute. I have never felt so disillusioned by Sunderland football club yet here we are on the cusp of a takeover that could change everything. f***ing weird feeling.
If this comes of it will be absolutely tremendous but if not the comedown will be without precedence .
Reiver will have to go into hiding as no matter his experience in CP work etc, even Liam Neeson would not have the skill set to fight off 10k plus Mackems hunting him down with pitch forks.

IF anyone is to take other, this is exactly the sort of nonsense they need to shake, and to be fair to Donald and Methven so far they don't seem to have become entrenched by it in any way.

None of it should be about getting one over on them, they shouldn't even figure in our thinking as it's got fuck all to do with them. And this paranoia about a 'mag biased media' is absurd to be honest.
Do you really believe that, that there is no Bias from BBC Look North, ITV Tyne Tees, The Ronnie Gill toward Sunderland ?

Wouldn't disagree, Although its a shite squad compared to what we have relativley been used to (2 years ago and before) - I guess it is what it is for now. We just need to get out ASAP.

I think the fact that when we play the ball on the deck with pace nobody in the division cope with us shows the quality in the squad.

We just need to actually play that way more often and I guess that’s the setup/instruction coming from the manager.

I’m trying to think of the example I remember from this season which resulted in a goal but my memory is shite and I can’t even remember who we’ve played let alone which match a specific passage of play occurred in...

you are a miserable so and so at the best of times.

if what reiver says is true, it matters not what or where we are, what is important is where are we going
I'm not - I'm just not letting myself get carried away. The reality is nothing is signed, we're in League 1, Jack Ross is the manager, and the squad's pretty naff. The Champions League is three years away at the very least. Long time in football that.

Thanks for the info upto now Reiver....bit it’s coming across as a bit daft now!

Our first goal against Rochdale was lovely football. Knocked it about, good movement, quick passing, unsurprisingly they couldn't live with it. Don't think we've done it since!
