It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s already done, but we’ll see it announced the day after the transfer window. Just because people will wrongly assume we’ll get shit loads of players in if it’s announced before. Helps the PR machine get off on the right foot.

What happens in January then? Sign no one because fans will assume the same? May as well wait until the season ends then
 
I reckon it will be Glenn Hoddle advising the group. Plenty of experience managing in England starting at the level we find ourselves at now. He also setup his own youth academy so knows the importance of developing youth.

Can imagine some great advice from him like. Failed as a manager every where he went. Maybe he’ll recommend a witch doctor to exorcise the gypsy curse on the club.
 
If it's Arry Redknapp and Telly Vegetables they would have these billionaires penniless within months, and that's without buying any players.
 
Hoddle, Venables, Redknapp, Keegan, Reidy- the first five that come to mind. Managed in England would change the possibilities somewhat, Wenger anyone? ( advisor, not manager)

January is ages away, the deadline for the summer is tomorrow. Totally different situations. Much more time to have a reasoned and considered approach to recruitment in January, rather than trying to rush it through in a day.

They aren't going to be looking into recruitment strategy currently, as they are trying to buy the club. Most on here will agree, the current recruitment set up is sub standard and isn't performing so what's the point in the new owners chucking money at it tomorrow?

Caveat to this - I do think we need players, but don't think it's a good idea just throwing money at it in a panic tomorrow.
