Fuck me I be logging off for few week if this takeover deal collapses , it’s out only hope IMO , there’s been zero progress from last season

I was shown a WhatsApp message from my fella congratulating Fuhrman on his purchase of the club and a thank you response. There are a handful of minor issues to resolve, before it can be announced, but absolutely NOTHING that can affect the deal.

So, that's it, done.

Nothing regarding the plans, of which I was told, will be announced until the PR stuff starts. Believe me though, it's mind blowing and they will be throwing money at it despite what people are speculating.

They're not happy with Ross and the staff but believe the team should be promoted.

Fuhrman has said he'll be going to games.

Now, my lunch has arrived and Mrs Reiver is giving me daggers.

Cheers for the updates it is very much appreciated. By all accounts it looks likes a brighter future and after yesterday the club and the fans need a lift.

Like you i cant see much happening tomorrow,and apart from lb .Yesterday knocked me ,we had big discussion in the peacock and most who joined in didnt want ross signings .

Because those deals would be conditional on the deal completing, which can't be guaranteed. Agents aren't likely to be keen on that. Besides, most new owners of a business will take time to do a proper assessment before overcommitting. Of course, some of that could be done as part of football due diligence (yes, there is such a thing), but the timescale just seems too tight, unless they're absolutely certain of a completion time. I don't know, but that's my assessment.
