Takeover Rumours

OK, this is all I've been told and all I can say so won't be taking questions.

The fella I've just left is a multi-millionaire art dealer who had lunch with Fuhrman in New York a month back. He also knows Phelan personally but not Dell. Apparently Fuhrman's 1.2 billion collection cost him a total of £2 million ... smart man.

I was shown a WhatsApp message from my fella congratulating Fuhrman on his purchase of the club and a thank you response. There are a handful of minor issues to resolve, before it can be announced, but absolutely NOTHING that can affect the deal.

So, that's it, done.

Nothing regarding the plans, of which I was told, will be announced until the PR stuff starts. Believe me though, it's mind blowing and they will be throwing money at it despite what people are speculating.

They're not happy with Ross and the staff but believe the team should be promoted.

Fuhrman has said he'll be going to games.

Now, my lunch has arrived and Mrs Reiver is giving me daggers.

So posters who are not happy with Ross have an agenda but the new owners aren’t happy are spot on? Got it.

I wasn't sure whether to post this as I'd hoped people were switched on enough to work it out.

Ask yourselves whether they'd be aware of the massive amount of money Short lost.

Ask yourselves if they have a few quid.

Ask yourselves if they'd use some of that money to engage an experienced retired English manager to advise them, on the quiet, before, during and after the takeover.

Come on people, wake up ...

... or else I'll have to resort to a video clip using f***ing glove puppets to represent the various characters

Is the glove puppets the new stick man shoite?

As an aside, do staff costs count towards FFP? Presume they do like, just wondering if the plan might be more to have Allardyce as a Director of Football, rather than manager. Might suit him better at his age, will add another football person to the set up, can benefit from his contacts, might be a good plan for all

Not from my reading of the regulations, which only seem to mention player costs.

Don't think the bloke would be on a wind up mind. He's the type of person who goes out of his way to help other fans with tickets and the likes, that doesn't really tally with someone who wants to build people's hopes up for nowt. Plus plenty on here know him, so if he was making all these contacts up, someone would pull him up on it. He's also far from being a poster who seeks attention. It'll be true, and sounds like it's too far through to fail now, let's just hope it's as good as we all hope

I was with him only yesterday. He's sound.

Not keen on them possibly using Curbishley as an advisor mind ;)
