I posted a while back, on the roll call thread, that I'm travelling from Mansfield with my son who has to work until 12.30.

Besides I've posted everything I'm able to. I don't break a confidence which is why people trust me and tell me stuff.

I wouldn't be comfortable trying to keep my gob shut while being plied with strong drink ...

I would have liked this to be announced well before 5pm monday so that we could possibly invest a small sum in 2 players who would ensure we are thereabouts come January. Not great if we have multi billionaire owners if we are mid table and cannot strengthen for 4 months.

I think we will go with what we've got other than a LB. Maybe sign a couple of Championship players based on their club league position in January.

The big investment will come once we are back in the Championship.

After the series had been released I used to quite regularly search on twitter to see what people were saying about the series, 99% was excellent feedback and the majority of those were Americans who had discovered the show.

The number of Americans who had been hooked and who were then urging their friends and colleagues to start watching was amazing. Mind you lots of other people from all over the world also said they had adopted us as their second team on the back of the series.

The fact that an odious person like MQ made fun of it and it then turns out to have hopefully secured this impending deal makes it sweet, real sweet.
