Embleton and Baldwin could be off by Monday

Despite his performance at Burnley I still wouldn't be surprised to see Baldwin leave, as for Embleton, that would be a shock move after all the hype he's been getting during pre-season

It'll be a shame of embleton leaves but that's football isn't it, to play in the position that he does he's going to have to get in ahead of McNulty, mcgeady or Maguire.

ave to agree, it eould not make sense...they need blooding with us this season for next. If they dont do it here, now, they never will.

If Embleton leaves (presumably on loan) then we’d surely look/need to bring someone else in?

We’d be short on the number of options we had there last season otherwise. Unless it was felt we had too many last year. Or that we’re now counting O’Nien as an option for those attacking three or thinking we can rely on Watmore more or expecting Kimpioka to sign and be involved more or.....I think I should stop speculating.

I'd rather keep Embleton here and try to get him into the side and much as possible.

If he does go it should only be a loan until Jan to a league 1 club or there is no point at all.

Ethan Robson might be a shout to go out on loan. Get more games under his belt and more experience

We could send him on a recall-able loan though right? So if things were bad we could get him back

Our younger lads (21 - 23) need to be given game time this season. Loans at a lower level are no good at that age.

Next season we want / need to be in the championship. If a lad in his 20’s isn’t good enough to be playing in league 1, then it’s not likely he’s going to be able to develop into a championship / premier league player.

Embleton refused to sign a contract remember and came back for training without one. He only signed once he was told and believed hed play games.

Maybe hes just thought fuck it? He certainly wont start many at all
