The Mag media have: a) an all too obvious dislike of SAFC. b) do not want this takeover to become reality and c) are pathetically biased towards NUFC and do not cover the NE football scene fairly.

We all know they're capable of saying things like Adam Johnson’s aeroplane gesture was a reference to the NUFC fans killed in the plane crash ... followed by a half arsed apology and charity donation.

These so called unbiased ‘professional’ journos will be sweating and grimacing when their editors tell them they must cover the SAFC takeover in detail!

The bitterness will ooze out of them like rancid juice on week old road kill :lol:

Agree with their hidden intentions - they will hate this. But nevertheless Hope and Coverdale work for papers that want stories and they usually deliver just that.

One thing I know lots about is the media and local football clubs.

I’m 99.9% sure that there will be no embargoes or anything like that in place now or ever.

I predict the club will do a press release initially, with a Q&A following a couple of days later.

When I did a lot with a Sunderland typically they’d send a late night email saying ‘press conference 830 tomorrow’ for anything big.

Remember as well, whatever happens, it won’t be just the local sports journos interested, so there will be no embargoes - just to hard to enforce.

So like I say all this is so far is a lot of guesswork. Nothing yet has been claimed with any substance to back it up other than a few vague ‘I know this one, I know that one but I can’t say too much ’ etc with a winky face hoyed in for good measure.

We all know that this dell group are interested, it’s common knowledge. It’s also a given that if it does all go through that the EFL will receive the paperwork.

I’ve heard that the club are looking at holding a press conference to announce it in next couple of weeks. Easy this ITK lark :lol:
