Probally regarding MSD failed mags takeover in 2008..Ashley will have done something, bet he now hates them..

Knew it..cannot wait to hear/read what he did to miss them off...I bet MSD will now dedicate the rest of his life to fukin over the mags?..great move btw buy Sunderland...all over Netflix.. does anyone know the viewing figures?..seems the way it's going owners buying club for promoting their core business interests..

We have Dell..t
F*cking hope not. The atmosphere is far better with 28-30k proper supporters in the ground than it ever was with the additional 15-20k "PL Fans"

As long as the lower bowl looks packed on tv it would be enough for me!!..66k stadium can wait until we get back in the prem.

Seriously, there's a massive deal going through and the media hasn't mentioned anything whatsoever despite the new buyers being in town.

In my very limited experience of the media that's because a media event/press conference is being lined up and invites will be withdrawn if anyone blabs.

Uh?

Am I missing something here - everything except the finer details has been plastered all over the National (and International) media for a week now.

So now we're back to the actual thread subject, 'Our impending world domination', I'll just summarise what I know as facts.
(Sorry if this sounds preposterous but it's all true as various posters would confirm.)

  • The buyer's accountants, massive firm I can't name, has taken the books apart and OK'd them - confirmed by my millionaire Italian friend who uses them
  • The deal has been totally agreed with all parties
  • The EFL is the last part of the jigsaw but it's being described to me as a formality - "Can you provide proof you have more money than Stewart Donald?"
  • A fella from a well known beer producing family has told me his mate, one of the 4 buyers, has described himself as 'Sunderland's new owner'
  • I'm seeing him on Sunday when he's promised to give me the whole story
  • Sadly/happily I think it may well be announced before then so I won't be able to 'get in first'
  • It's been described, to me, as a long term legacy project involving as many bodies as possible - no Mafia puns intended

Yes there was an initial flurry then virtually nothing. No questions asked to Donald and the club has gone into radio silence except football issues.

We could quite possibly hold off till after the window closes. If we did want another player or 2 in we wont want to announce anything so we are not held to ransom over transfer fees.
40 billion and we are worried announcing a takover, because we can be held to ransom for a league one left back 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Jesus Christ

Don't think Craig Hope or David Coverdale care about Bury like. North East is their patch for the nationals and if theres a story they'll break it. I've chosen to believe you despite not knowing you like but i just dont think that lack of national media interest is linked to an impendindg press conference because these journalist who dont care about upsetting the club may not get invited to it. Just doent work like that

As I clearly said that was my own opinion and absolutely nothing to do with what the club are saying.

From 2008 in case anyone shits themselves.

I haven’t got time but if anyone wants to read the mags take on Dell possibly buying Newcastle, here’s a link.

f***ing hell, it's mine too. Must be today then, they're tying it in with pretty much everyone on the SMBs birthday!
Bloody hell anyone else have a birthday today? Feel left out now. Had on... 29th August - pretty much 9 months exactly from New Year. Think it's fair to guess how all your parents saw in their respective New Years... :)🥳

Edit: hopefully nobody actually tries to work this out (I counted December as a month )
