To be honest, I expected us to be beaten comfortably tonight - albeit not embarrassed. I wouldn’t have been disappointed with that, as this season the focus has to be on getting out of the league.

Still, I’m pleasantly surprised here, especially when I saw the side Burnley have put out with some very good players.
Thought we were in for a drubbing. Very happy to be proved again tonight that I knar absolutely fuck all about football

From another game:

Gylfi Sigurdsson steps up, opens up his body and slots the free-kick into the top right-hand corner.
Then both sets of players pile in to the net as the Icelander tries to retrieve the ball.
JORDAN PICKFORD HAS RAN THE LENGTH OF THE PITCH TO GET INVOLVED!

This will be doing absolute wonders for confidence like. Not only will our strongest 11 be full of confidence from the last few games, but now those on the fringes will be at it. Think a few will have needed this especially Dobson, Grigg, Flanagan, Hume, Embleton. Perfect scenario really .

His tactics are useless, his squad management is poor and he finished 5th last season with the best squad in the league, by some distance. And Wembley both times was a fiasco.

Just because his squad is carrying him through a few games, it won't change my view of him. We can do better. Hume isn't a bad left back, but we are signing a new left back because we can do better. Manager isn't any difference.
Miserable bawbag

 seen it on Sky.

Bit aggro and the Sunlun boy pegs it 100 yards to pile in. He's some boy.

At which stage will you stop judging him on last season and start giving him credit for this season?
