In fact look at it this way. We ended the season with:

McLaughlin
Onien
Oviedo
Ozturk
Flanagan/Dunne
Catts
Leadbitter
Honeyman
Morgan
Grigg/Wyke
McGeady

As first choices.

Onien had spells out of first team starting early on.
Oviedo spent ages out
Ozturk spent ages out
Dunne came in January
Leadbitter came in January and had barely played
Morgan came in January and had hardly played
Grigg had been injured and in and out at Wigan
Wyke had been in and out injured.
McGeady played 35 games overall, 30 in the league

the 61 games we played was quite shared through out the squad.
 

If Griggsy scores another it wouldn't surprise me if he rips of his shirt and there on his chest is painted red and white stripes with the number 2.

I reckon he will hate being third choice and picked to start in a ‘weakened’ team. It is up to him to change the manager’s mind. I hope he starts scoring for fun and begins to enjoy it. He may just be an aloof character of course but he did seem to enjoy scoring for Wigan.

To be fair you where whinging earlier about people wanting to sign Maddison

What cost us promotion was being by and large rubbish, it was individual brilliance that won us the majority of our points, Maja, McGeady, Maguire.
If none of them were playing or out of sorts we didn't win as a rule.
We defended atrociously and our midfield sat too deep all year.

Grigg didn’t even celebrate when he scored. Looked as though he’d just put in an own goal, turned round and didn’t even crack a smile. Hope he gets another, the lad needs a bit of confidence and loving from the fans.
