Takeover Rumours

Just had another quick look on the Chronicle website to see if they've got owt on this - not a thing.
It's weird because we know that our favourite strabismic journo and his mates are always on here - wonder why they're not reporting it?

Quick story mate.

Those pads are on a private domain with access by one road only and huge security.

Robbers came onto the private beach of one of them, in speedboats, and held the family hostage while they robbed it.

The local police, including a mate, were alerted and sealed all the roads out of St Tropez

Backs up what the bloke on our tour boat said. He showed us the back of Dodi Fayeds gaff which was right on the seafront - all there was was a wall with a up-and-over garage door. He said that when he was sorting Di the paps were always on the road out and he used to come out of the garage in a speedboat. When he got back they never even knew he's been gone.

So now we're back to the actual thread subject, 'Our impending world domination', I'll just summarise what I know as facts.
(Sorry if this sounds preposterous but it's all true as various posters would confirm.)

  • The buyer's accountants, massive firm I can't name, has taken the books apart and OK'd them - confirmed by my millionaire Italian friend who uses them
  • The deal has been totally agreed with all parties
  • The EFL is the last part of the jigsaw but it's being described to me as a formality - "Can you provide proof you have more money than Stewart Donald?"
  • A fella from a well known beer producing family has told me his mate, one of the 4 buyers, has described himself as 'Sunderland's new owner'
  • I'm seeing him on Sunday when he's promised to give me the whole story
  • Sadly/happily I think it may well be announced before then so I won't be able to 'get in first'
  • It's been described, to me, as a long term legacy project involving as many bodies as possible - no Mafia puns intended

Splendid.
Thanks for the update.

How @Reiver do I have to have a walk along the shop for some tins tonight or what don’t usually drink on a school night, but there is certain special occasions when that rule can be breached?? If you know what I mean ;);)

After careful consideration my advice would be ...

... gannon marra

I reckon that who that Kildaremackem is.
Has he been banned?

Noticed he was having a bit of a meltdown other day.
Why aren't Tyne tees news saying anything about it when the mags were linked with the fake shiek they had reporters outside the ground interviewing fans etc
Really hope it comes off imagine all the local media and so called unbiased journos the fuckers will be devasted

They can't not report on something that big if it goes through.

They’ve got a fair bit on it tbf

Nothing updated from the initial reports though. The article where it says "takeover latest" it just mentions about us beating Wimbledon, then says "but off the pitch SD has agreed to sell a majority stake to US investors".
This thread has gone crackas since Riever has basically confirmed it's going through, but nothing on the Chronicle website.

Wish the efl would hurry up and announce it, I'm getting nee work done this week. Glad it's not getting much media attention too. We all know ow if it was the mags how they'd be going on
