As been said by other posters you are a mag. possibly...stupid yes.

Stand for election or get a job in regeneration at the Council (it would be a doddle with your experiences and no doubt qualifications) and show us what you can do. You certainly have a lot to say.

This seems to be an attempt to derail one of the most important threads we've ever had on here.

I've reported him and suggested a thread ban as he seems to have no contribution to make to the thread subject.

Sunderland has got it's faults, just like any other place, recovering from the loss of industry is a major problem, along with the poorly paid jobs here, leaving people with less disposable income, but, it's a place I enjoy living in, never feel threatened and there's nowhere I wouldn't walk through day or night.
What I do know, is that every single person I've brought up here from the south, were gobsmacked at how nice it was here and it was genuine praise, I was down the beach on Friday morning and it was beautiful, ten minute drive from my doorway, I'll take that over Oxford st any day.
All this. I love Sunderland. Might even nip down Harbour View now for a few in the sun.

I'm not claiming to be well travelled, but our beaches are probably the best I've seen anywhere. Especially when you consider it wasn't that long ago we were pumping industrial waste into the sea. The water was crystal clear down roker yesterday and plenty of people were swimming in it.

wonder what his views are on the outsiders buying the club
haha good point. we dont any of these billionaire types round our club wanting to invest. :)

Im sure with hardlife's skills and expertise in regenration he will have the resources from his successful career to buy the club and show us how its done.

He is an expert on everything else. :)

Just throwing this in. I know it’s Wiki but Wolves is the interesting one. How would that differ from the position we may potentially find ourselves in?
It has Donald down as being worth 8.4 million dollars, which we know is completely wrong so that leads me to question the validity of any of the figures shown, so any inferences based on those figures would be incorrect as well.

Agree. The club has waited 70 years to be in a position we are in today we are all buzzing, the sun is shinning and its being derailed by an idiot.

You are a top man :)

imagine the efl asking one of these guys if they can show 50 million to prove theyre serious ''hang on sir il just check down the back of the settee''

In fairness, whenever I return I’m pleasantly surprised. When I moved away 35 years ago Sunderland was a bit of a tip, but even then I considered it my tip.
