So when will we actually hear anything ? Anything other than pure speculation on here !
If you believe Bloomberg a price hasn't been agreed yet and they were just having a look around before putting a bid in.

Ah more like it so nothing in it yet ! Other than pure hope that something might happenIf you believe Bloomberg a price hasn't been agreed yet and they were just having a look around before putting a bid in.
Give a man a fish and he’ll eat that day. Whereas give a man a fishing rod.....

Where did he reckon that ?SD reckoned it was pretty much done on Saturday like.
Nothing that specific, other than what's been in the press, ie he'll be a shareholder, but not on the board. That's not unheard of, even with 100% owners; Abramovic isn't on the board at Chelsea, nor is Ashley up the road.
in Quinns bar after the gameWhere did he reckon that ?
SD told who?SD reckoned it was pretty much done on Saturday like.
That's your option I have mineRubbish.
Very professionalin Quinns bar after the game
Louise Taylor in the Guardian today saying it's only awaiting EFL ratification.
Corporate finance doesn't recognise bank holidays, nor that day and night are different things, to be fair. They seem to have a strange belief that a deal is only valid if signed at 4.30am after a massive allnighter. Bury alone will make sure they're working today. Giving our deal clearance should be a bit of light relief compared to that.
Was that in the women’s team article?
And didn't we know about it if you worked in mainstream audit!!!
SD told who?
Very professional
It irrespective what my plans are, I dont and will never own the club. The owners do need let the basics of what they intend to do be known.
You're replying to a well known mag wum.Who is this knaka?
I travel 100 miles down to Sunderland every other week for 40 years and have put countless thousands of pounds into the local economy so it gives me every right to put my nose in on a social media message board, all be it as an outsider looking in.
I did work for a local authority for a number of years and there was always a handful of gobby thick twats who could tell you how to do your job better despite them struggling to have a couple of brain cells to rub together never mind a CSE or two. I think I know where you are coming from, I honestly do.
If you can do a better job stand for election or apply for a job in regeneration to show them how to do it. With your ability, not to mention your families ability, dont waste your time on here do it. Sunderland could become the Barcelona of the North with your input.
Sunderland Council are doing some excellent work in regenerating the city whatever some self appointed experts say on social media imho. The Stadium Village will be fantastic if it comes off.
SD has probably been more transparent than any other football club owner and in return has received loads of abuse from certain fans. In SD we have someone who keeps us informed, works hard to get the club back where it belongs and hopefully will soon have the backing he needs to move forward.Even if it’s a one off, I want the fans to be allowed to question them and to set the tone of this new era as one of complete transparency.
Why do these multi million pound takeovers involving dozens of people take so f***ing long?
Probably less, maybe even the end of this week.
I'm not putting the champagne in the fridge just yet. But to me it sounds like it's at the point where it's harder for it not to go through than go to completion. As long as both sides have the will to make it happen, they'll compromise where they need to. Mrs G (no!) has been involved in a number of acquisitions over the years, and once both sides have agreed they want the deal to happen, it's just a matter of time.
Agree wholeheartedly about the second bit. Wasn’t keen on the Sanchez transfer thoughNobody in their right mind would have expected Sanchez to be so shit for them. That's football, like you say. I just can't believe someone would do their upmost to try and poo poo anyone who's seeing the potential in this deal.
