Takeover Rumours

I thought the Sheepfolds was being developed into housing. Do you mean inward, closer to the ground?

It would be great if they invest in the city as well as the club. It all sounds positive mate, looking forward to seeing this get over the line so we can find out more.

Excited.

That's more than I know tbh.

I've only been told that Sheepfolds is being looked at but I've no idea what the plans are.

I'm guessing that, as it's between the town/station/metro, it's a prime area to be included in the SOL area.

It's also relatively inexpensive land as well as a bit of an eysore.

It's all very exciting and I hope that the benefits of having these owners extend beyond the club, as have been described.

I wonder if they can also help develop the potential of the 'Software City' project. Seems like it hasn't gone terribly well so far.

whats that project got to do with safc?

but why would they do something to benfit the town? they are only buying safc...as one of a portfolio of sports club and other investments.
Do you think it’ll be a slow burning project or one where they’ll put a few quid in to start with like investment into the academy and buying/selling good young players and using profits to reinvest?

if they do that the safc fans will go absolutely f***ing beserk..they want instant success NOW not youth players. and when the youth players come though safc fans will just condemn them anyway. there needs to be an attitude change from safc fansd.

I just think if we follow similar to what Red Bull clubs have done, investing in the academy and good young first team players then sell for big profits and using it to reinvest back into the team and so on becoming self sufficient wouldn’t be a bad plan to follow

I don't know who you think you're speaking for but it's certainly not me or anyone I know.

As long as you accept this is just your opinion i have no problem with it.
