As an outsider, I don’t understand why the Vauxhall’s brewery site stood empty for such a long time. If these lot intend to invest in the club and the surrounding area to make people’s lives better then I’m all for it. I still don’t think sunderland ever recovered from the Luftwaffe

I don't know whether you are talking bollocks or not but I was told about 3 days before it broke that it was dell (which is why I avoided this thread - mainly because I didn't believe them fully but lubed in hope). Same person I get told a few things from that have been right in the past (although one or two hasn't but with mitigating factors) and they've told me very similar.

I thought the Sheepfolds was being developed into housing. Do you mean inward, closer to the ground?

It would be great if they invest in the city as well as the club. It all sounds positive mate, looking forward to seeing this get over the line so we can find out more.

It seems to be common knowledge, at a certain level, and beyond the point of no return.

The investors are openly talking about their intentions, going to the stadium and speaking to staff.

If they had any doubts I don't believe they'd be doing that.
