Said the same to me mate at the match they must have turned round to Methven with 86 minson the clock and said is it full time
They will be used to that.... even a sell out footy match in the USA has thousands of empty seats at any one time as people mill around buying burgers, beer, popcorn yadda yadda. They can’t get used to the fact that there’s no stoppages in this “soccer” malarkey.

Which one? Dell? I can sort him out with a few grands worth of original art like, since he's got money burning a hole in his strides pocket. He can consider it a good will gesture to a long suffering supporter of SAFC.

He should hook up with the Bish lads and check out the Zurbaran portraits and the new art gallery

They could build a monorail to alleviate the traffic congestion.

I can understand why some people leave early. 5-10 mins can make a massive difference for out of towners.
It's a piece of piss to get away if you leave at full time, unless you're parked in the stadium car park or something. This is southbound on the a19 so unless it's crazily different on other routes then I really think it's a load of bollocks

Honestly can't help but get overly excited about this. With that much cash you'd think that owning a club would just be a complete waste of time unless you wanted a play thing to make a footballing force because you're bored of your yacht.

They'll invest in tonnes of stuff, each one will add a little extra to their wealth. The saying look after the pennies and pounds take care of themselves is very pertinent but probably just worded slightly differently for them as it'll be look after the millions and the billions take care of themselves. If they feel spending 100 million or whatever can have them something worth 200 million in just a few short years they'll pounce on it.
I can mate but the amount of people that leave is in its thousands which I find bizzare

Heed

I left today with about a minute or two of stoppage time left as I'm on nights and needed to get home to Seaton Carew quickly. I couldn't believe how many were already outside crossing the bridge on Millennium Way and walking down Hay St. It was almost as busy as it gets shortly after full-time. I knew we had a few leave early but didn't realise until today just f***ing how many, I couldn't believe my eyes

It's bollox. Either you commit to supporting the team or you don't. Fair enough on some occasions you need to be away early, but it's the same people week in week out leaving 10/15 mins early FFS. Pathetic.

Tbh it was less busy leaving at full time than usual, no queues out of st Mary’s car park, drop off in Washington and back to houghton before 6.

Enough to scrape by Marra, my pension sorts me out.
But it is our business, they run our club, and will be accountable in this.
I dare say when the yearly set of accounts come out, we will know.
But fuck me, what is wrong with asking a genuine question as a season ticket holder and SAFC supporter ??
Absolutely nowt marra. Posters getting a bit giddy here - perfectly understandable but a bit much tbh.

These lads nearly bought The Mags last year, but their humongous legend of an owner moved the goalposts at the last minute.

The above is fact. Let that sink in Mags 😊😊😊

Is this truth or fans bollocks?

What fans need to realise is that the Jan transfer window should this all go ahead, we will still be hampered by FFP and I can imagine will be operating a 1 out 1 in policy. The key board warriors need to pipe down if we haven't spent millions on players. It just ain't gonna happen.

However where it will benefit is if promotion is achieved. Stating the obvious but between naming rights of stadium (which is inevitable) and new kit sponsor, it may give us additional capital on top of transfer budget to make a push, but again FFP next season and possible new EFL proposals on salary caps may hamper who can be brought in

Short had a billion. These have got 70 combined. One of them has Shorts wealth in an art collection.
I literally can't understand the actual value of that amount of money. I mean in cash it would fill a shipping container or something. You couldn't even spend it. It's completely out of my depth.
Fit & proper person test all prospective new owners have to gan through
Thanks Hank. I doubt these are the same league as the Bury owner... But if it needs done fair enough.

What does that mean? Is this new because of the Bury thing? Can they cancel the buy?
Technically they can block the transaction but I doubt the new owners will have any difficulty showing themselves as ‘fit and proper’ to meet the regulations. Bear in mind Dale passed! And Ashley!! Having said that I’m trying not to get too carried away until the ink is finally dry and we know the deal is done ... bloody hard though ;)
