Hopefully the takeover happens quickly. It would be interesting to see how much they would be willing to invest in the club. I am not excpecting us to be the next Man City but a quicker return to the Prem and being competitive there would be lovely.

It shows the level of ambition we’ve got, even trying to attract these people. Always been a glass half full person, so being optimistic it’ll happen. If it doesn’t, we’ve lost nothing. In the meantime, I’ll revel in the thought of it happening and what it’s doing to the great unwashed up the road (who are conspicuous by their absence, by the way)
 
these people are worth obscene amounts of money. why would they buy us to try and flip a quick profit if we got back into the PL? it would be absolute buttons to them

they've got billions and and nowt to spend it on so fancy a little side project of owning a football club. they also hate the mags

Negativity on here as got worse as the day as gone on.Really had a good drink tonight and going to bed ,but o depressive ones do you think the quality of these investors would allow this to come out if it wasnt happening.
 
Any indication given as to whether this impacts what we will spend this window? presumably the plan doesn't change until any takeover is finalized which will likely be after the window shuts.

Don't think we should be blowing millions to get out of this league anyway, but would be nice to get a good left back.

This news certainly won't put off any potential signings ...

... players will be more inclined to come here, simple as that.
